Mandarin Ratsnake Elaphe mandarina
          This is a medium Elaphe. These beautiful snakes are not for beginners.
 
 
Persian Ratsnake Elaphe persica
          This is a small Elaphe. I currently work with the melanistic phase.
 
 
Red Mountain Ratsnake Elaphe porphyracea coxi
          This is a small Elaphe. Coxi are some of the most beautiful snakes.
 
 
Green Bush Ratsnake Elaphe prasina
          These are beautiful medium sized ratsnakes, they are
          arboreal animals. You can see a beautiful example on the back

Japanese Four-Lined Ratsnake Elaphe quadrivirgata
          This species is found in Japan and is quite variable in
          pattern and coloration.
 
 
Eastern Four-lined Ratsnake Elaphe q. sauromates
          Also called Bulgarian Ratsnake, this subspecies of
          quatuorlineata keeps its juvenile pattern. They are one of  the best 
          ratsnakes to keep. They are still very rare in collections.
 
 
Ladder Ratsnake Elaphe scalaris
          This is a European species of Elaphe. The babies are yellowish
          with a black pattern that resembles a ladder. My animals have
          great temperament.
 
 
Russian Ratsnake Elaphe s. schrencki
          This is a large bodied snake that is black and yellow. They seem
          to be very personable. Every time I go to open the cage they want
          to come out and be held.

Leopard Ratsnake Elaphe situla
          This is a very popular ratsnake. It is relatively small usually around
          three feet. It resembles a corn snake at first glance.
 
 
Taiwan Beauty Snake Elaphe taeniura friesi
          These taeniura have a black dorsal bow tie pattern on a bright
          yellow background with black marks on a white and yellowish
          back ground laterally changing to alternating black and yellow
          stripes.
 
 
Mocquard's Beauty Snake Elaphe t. mocquardi
          These snakes are very similar to Taiwan beauty. They have a
          stronger dorsal pattern and are a beautiful yellow.
 
 
Cave Ratsnake Elaphe t. ridleyi
          These are the much sought after Cave Dwelling Ratsnake. As
          adults they have a blue head and a white or off white body. These
          are one of my favorite snakes with great personalities they make
          great pets.
 
 
Blue Beauty Snake Elaphe t. ssp.
          The Blue Beauty is a beautiful denim blue. This subspecies gets
          quite large, but with some good care they are easy to handle and
          have good temperaments.
